Prostitution Sting Nets Illegal Immigrants

More than a dozen men have been arrested after police set up a prostitution sting along Route 1 in Howard County last Friday.
Police say five of the men were taken into custody by immigration officials because they are illegal immigrants.
The others are charged with soliciting prostitution.
According to police undercover female officers were working route 1 in Jessup where citizens had complained about prostitution.

Police continue to utilize reverse prostitution operations
13 men arrested in fifth operation of year
Howard County police are continuing to utilize reverse prostitution operations with success. The department conducted its fifth operation of the year on Friday, resulting in 13 men being arrested for solicitation of prostitution. In four earlier operations this year, a total of 48 men were arrested.
On Friday, detectives and female officers arrested 13 suspects for soliciting prostitution in Jessup along the U.S. 1 corridor. Female officers in plain clothes worked undercover in areas targeted by citizen complaints to determine whether they would be approached and offered money for sex. Suspects who approached the female officers and made such offers were arrested.
The following suspects were arrested and charged with solicitation of prostitution:
Jesus Reyes Andrade-Joya, 27, of Oxon Hill
German Antonio Arias-Reyes, 38, of Woodbridge, Va.
Anthony D. Dancy, 45, of Randallstown
Timothy P. Delton, 49, of Glastonsbury, Conn.
Gregory Despinos, 35, of Elkridge
Carlos Garcia-Ruiz, 29, of Laurel (detained by ICE for being in country illegally)
Mohammad Khaliq, 48, of Hanover
Jose Montero-Gutierez, 21, of Laurel (detained by ICE for being in country illegally)
Jhomy “Jhonny” Roblero, 33, of Temple Hills (detained by ICE for being in country illegally)
Moises Escobar Rodriguez, 27, of Jessup (detained by ICE for being in country illegally)
William A. Santos, 28, of Silver Spring (also charged with fourth-degree sex offense and second-degree assault for touching the female officer inappropriately; detained by ICE for being in country illegally)
Scaria Parakattil Steephan, 45, of Columbia
Jaine A. Villtoro-Jere, 39, of Lanham
