Overwhelming Majority of Marylanders Say Taxes Are Too High

Subject: Overwhelming Majority of Marylanders Say Taxes Are Too High

Header
A group comprised of O’Malley fundraisers and former employees released a poll today that showed Maryland voters are deeply concerned about the economy and taxes. Over 60% of likely voters said that taxes are too high and over 80% said the economy does not appear to be getting any better! We can draw two conclusions from this poll: most Marylanders agree with AFP’s message of lower taxes and less spending AND politicians who subscribe to the big-government philosophy are in trouble. Keep in mind – the group conducting the poll is directly linked to Gov. O’Malley, so the results should be closely examined.

This polling data may come as a shock to Gov. O’Malley, who stated that our economy was on the rebound. However, to those hard working Marylanders who see their taxes being raised, property values plummeting and a government that is out of control – this poll is just an affirmation of the daily struggle during these hard times.

Let’s send a message to politicians who are not listening to us. Let’s demand that our leaders stop increasing taxes, stop wasteful spending and support policies that will get Maryland moving again. Please make sure you sign our “November Is Coming” petition and pass it on to friends, family and co-workers. We need you to become more active in Americans for Prosperity!

AFP-MARYLAND ON TV

I will be on the Fox45 Morning show tomorrow to talk about Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor Rally.” Be sure to catch it in the Baltimore-area at 7:00am.

WE FOUND CONGRESSMAN KRATOVIL!

After virtually no contact with the district (outside of costly, taxpayer-funded mailers), we found Rep. Kratovil at the MACo crab feast in Ocean City. We thanked him for his vote against ObamaCare, and I guess you could say he gave us the cold shoulder…

You can view our encounter with the Congressman HERE.

If you see or hear from the Congressman, please let us know!
