Speaking to MSI
Dear Friend,

The finance report we filed August 17 with the Board of Elections demonstrates the strong support our campaign for the Maryland House of Delegates has received to date. While raising money hasn’t been as important to me as meeting voters to understand their issues of concern, it is certainly encouraging that we have out-raised all of the Republican Primary challengers.

The special interest-funded incumbents in District 13 can still significantly out-spend us; however, we have and will continue to out-work them.

Since I last e-mailed you, I received the endorsement of both the Maryland Farm Bureau (an organization that aims to promote and protect Maryland agriculture and rural life) and Tripwire (a group of 2nd Amendment supporters).

Our legislative priorities (imposing term limits on all elected officials, lowering taxes and spending; supporting job growth; demanding government transparency; and, maintaining a clean environment and a world class educational system in Maryland) have resonated with individual voters and organizations alike. In case you missed the League of Women Voters Primary Candidate Forum, you can click here for rebroadcast dates and times.

Our campaign will be even stronger with your help. Our next campaign finance report is due to the Board of Elections on September 3, including transactions up to August 29. That leaves us less than 4 days to show continued support. Please consider making a $250, $100, $50 or even $20.10 contribution today by clicking the "Donate" button to the left or by mailing a check to:

We need volunteers to go door to door, help out at events, host meet & greets and distribute yard signs throughout Howard County. If you can help, please contact Campaign Manager Ron Bartyczak at rbartyczak and we’ll put you to work!

Thank you for your support. We’ve got a tough fight ahead, which we will win together!

Forward to a Friend

With less than 70 days before the General Election, the Ed Priola for Delegate campaign would like to update all supporters and volunteers on what we have accomplished, and what is in store for us over the next couple of months.

You are invited to join us during our second "Insider Strategy Session" on Sunday, August 29 starting at 4:00 PM at the Howard County Republican Headquarters on Route 40 (9054 Chevrolet Drive, Ellicott City).

The briefing will take about 30 minutes, followed by questions and answers. Light refreshments will be served.

Please RSVP at ed or 202.627.9018. You can even bring a friend or a neighbor along-growing the circle of patriots who can say that they took back Annapolis and Maryland!

Ed continues to receive kudos from local bloggers. One blogger stated that his local political discussion group agreed "Ed Priola had the best chance of the four Republicans vying for a seat in District 13."

A second blogger stated that Ed’s performance in the League of Women Voters Candidate Forum was really impressive, calling Ed a "great speaker" who kept his answers clear and concise. The blogger particularly liked that Ed was "passionate about term limits" that forced politicians to live under the laws they passed for everyone else.

Please mark your calendars and join us during the following campaign events and voter outreach activities:

Please call Ed Priola at 202.627.9018 or Ron Bartyczak at 410.258.4077 if you can attend any/all the events while wearing an "Ed Priola for Delegate" T-shirt.

Our opponents are well funded by special interests. After all, they have amassed 50+ years in public office! To win the election, we need money to get our message out and people to help us hit the pavement… which is why I am asking for your help. Please join our team of volunteers and make a secure campaign contribution today.
