file_middle_left.jpg Republicans have offered legislation that would prevent future bailouts, help create jobs, and address Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac – the root causes of our economic meltdown. The Democrats’ 2,300-page financial "overhaul" does none of this and actually makes permanent bailouts the law of the land. They’ve given a slew of government agencies the authority to write hundreds of new jobs-killing regulations that will hurt small community banks, entrepreneurs, and tax-paying Americans. Here’s a look this and other issues on our radar this week:
