Friends,

I’m extremely happy to report that the campaign has been fantastic so far! A special thanks goes out to the volunteers that helped me throughout the 4th of July weekend as well as the volunteers who helped by sign-waving and handing out literature this past weekend. This election is about you and would be impossible to win without your help. I am truly grateful for how hard you all are continuing to work for this campaign. I’ve knocked on over 3,000 doors so far throughout Washington County, listening to and talking with the residents of our community, and I have noticed that there is a great deal of excitement about this election; people here understand the need for true conservative values in our legislature now more than ever.

That being said, this is the most crucial part of this election! The next ten weeks could have a HUGE effect on the outlook of Maryland over the next four years. Yard signs have just come in, and we always need new sign locations to show support for our cause. If you are interested in receiving these signs, please send an e-mail to shankforsenate with your name and location, so that we can deliver one to you at your convenience. Also, we are always in need of new volunteers! I have gone out with groups of volunteers several times recently, and it always makes a big difference when our group has around ten people instead of having just one candidate. Like I said, success in this election would be impossible without you, so if you are interested in volunteering for upcoming events, please send us an e-mail as well so that we can give you a list of potential volunteer dates.

We have several BIG events coming up in the next two weeks. These include:

Fri, July 16-Thurs, July 22: Washington County Ag Expo & Fair

Sat, July 17-Sun, July 18: Smithsburg Pride Days/Battle of Funkstown Reenactment

Sat, July 17: Funkstown Day in the Park/Opening of South Mountain Little League Tournament.

Let us know if you can help us at these events. We will continue to send e-mails about events in the future. If you do not wish to receive these e-mails, click the unsubscribe option at the bottom of the page to be removed from our list. I look forward to seeing you all!
