The Benefits of being an OWE Malley – Teachable Moments do not lead to Citations

Ironic isn’t it?  Not only did the Current Governor hide his DUI/DWI report from his entrance paperwork to Law School, his daughter did not even get cited for allegedly being intoxicated.  Now if it was your child, you would have been cited, possibly or at least your child would be.  That’s the benefits of being a politician, you get off with a hand smack while the rest of us get the book thrown at us.  Politics does have it’s advantages. 🙂  They did not even test her blood alcohol level for the presence of such lovely intoxicants.

Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley and his wife, Katie, are coping with the same concern a lot of other parents have this time of year — like what happens at graduation parties.

The O’Malleys’ 18-year-old daughter, Tara, was hospitalized briefly Thursday night in Baltimore after attending a graduation celebration.

Tara O’Malley graduated Wednesday from Notre Dame Academy in Baltimore County.

According to a police report obtained by News4, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday an officer on foot patrol at the Inner Harbor “observed a white female on the sidewalk in the 700 blk of Light St. The female appeared to be unconscious.”

The officer called medics and they transported O’Malley to Harbor Hospital.

O’Malley was not charged with anything, and there is no indication her blood-alcohol level was tested.
