A group of 222 economists has urged Congress to curb government spending in order to boost the economy and help create new jobs, but Democratic leaders aren’t listening. In fact, they refuse to join the GOP ban on earmarks and don’t even plan to pass a budget. If the Democrats running Washington won’t take action – with sky-high unemployment and the national debt soaring past $13 trillion – House Republicans are ready to take up the challenge and start cutting spending – now .
