To the People Of Maryland – Governor O Malley refuses to protect our Children through Jessica’s Law Amendment and Justice’s Bill

Dear National Media, Local Press, Bloggers, Maryland League of Voters and the DNC and MDGOP,

The Governor of Maryland refuses to step in and take care and protect our Children, instead, he is more concerned about Taxing Marylander’s on Future Energies, one in which he has already cost the average tax payer an increase of over 65 percent in their Energy Costs.  What a shame, he protects the Lobbyist’s and Big Money Backers, but refuses to step in and protect our Children.  And yes, I have information regarding his Big Lobby supporters for his bills, but not one of them have come forward to support bills to protect our children.  While we have Senator Frosh running around calling the protecting of our Children, “Bumper Sticker Legislation”, what a vile mockery of God’s Children.  We have Senator Madaleno running around asking for Gay Rights Support and Legislation, but he sits on his hands regarding our Children, figuring that Gay Marriage is more important then protecting our Children, then you have Chairman Joe Vallario who heads up the Delegate Caucus for Illegal Immigration and standing up for Illegal Alien rights, but not our Children.  Then you have Senator Mike Miller running around the State House worried about Card Games at his track, but not protecting his Grandchildren from Future Predators, then you have Mike Busch, who is to busy trying to find which way did they all go.  You all have made a total Mockery out of Maryland and should be ashamed of yourselves.  You cater to the Lobbyist’s while our children are dying and being raped at the hands of these animals and you don’t seem to care.  Your constituents are going care, lets make that clear right now.  They will know what you support over our Children.

Let us not forget about the Delegates and Senators who forget what they are voting for or voted for in the past.  For these individuals, you are not a concern of theirs, you are but a wee little peon on their Steps being swept away with no regard for your Views, Thoughts, Opinions and Freedoms.  They would suppress your freedom’s given every chance possible.

Are these the types of Governor’s, Senator’s and Delegate’s you want running your state? If so, then you are choosing someone who appears to care less about your children when they are raped, murdered, tortured and mutilated by these Animals who would walk the streets again in less then 5 years of serving time.  What a disgrace.  It’s time to Furlough OWE Malley in 2010 and his OLD Boy Network, they have SHAMED our great state and Stained it with Mockery and suppression.  Let’s make our voices heard.  Please call and email him every day until the end of the session.

PS, I really don’t care any longer if the men with butterfly nets come and swoop me away.

Maryland Legal Tax Paying Citizens to Continue to Pay Incarceration Costs for Illegal Aliens in Maryland’s Jail System which leads towards our 1.4 billion in Annual Costs for Illegals in Maryland, Fair Share Act, Killing Good Bills, SB 622

Statehouse, Governor, Media, League of Maryland Voters, Mark Lunsford and Joan Dantoni Harris for Jessica’s Law and Dee Myers of Justice’s Law,

The Week in Review:

Another Victory for the Delegates and Senators who help Pander to the Illegal Aliens in Maryland, let’s keep them here on Maryland Tax Payer Money.  Really, does that make sense?  Deport them and save our Tax Dollars.  Shame Shame Shame.  More waste for us.  You could take these criminals here illegally and force them into the Military as their crime and serve overseas as their punishment.  Give them a choice, our Military, or Deportation.

Then you have this, force non union State Workers to pay into a union that will not do anything for them, yet will make contract decisions without their votes.  Parts of my family thank you and you count on not getting their vote.  Nor will they be campaigning on the Phones for the Current Governor as the Teachers were forced to do in 2006.  Of course, allot of teachers will do it to campaign for Ehrlich, without the moderators looking over them.

I wonder how many emails Tom Russell campaign manager for the current Governor has sent to State Workers asking them to contribute to his campaign?  I bet I have a figure to share.

Lets not forget how Senator Madaleno, probably on the word of Senator Brian Frosh is laying over SB 622 to protect our children.  See, while most of you are down there killing bills for the Middle Class and taking more money from us, I stay up at night trying to make Maryland a better, safer place to live and a land where others would want to live and raise their families.  I can’t in my good conscious ask people to move to one of the most Pro Illegal Alien, Tax burdened, The Lack of Protection for our Children.  It would be like lying to someone that the Pot of Gold is over the Rainbow.  But while you are overlooking our Children and passing bills to raise Auto Insurance Rates, our children continue to be stalked and raped and murdered by Sex Offenders.   I have a 15 year old and a 9 year old, I would like to be a Grandfather one day and not have to visit them at their grave at the hands of these Animals.

Inmate immigration status bills killed in committee

Other failed bills included a repeal of the Fair Share requirement

ANNAPOLIS — With about two weeks left in this year’s Maryland General Assembly session, a number of bills have been killed in committee.

Several bills introduced by Del. Christopher B. Shank, R-Washington, and a bill introduced by the newest member of Washington County’s delegation, Del. Charles A. Jenkins, R-Washington/Frederick, were killed in committees by unfavorable votes.

Shank and Jenkins said the outcomes of those bills were about what they expected.

Two of the bills would have required the Division of Correction to forward to federal agencies specified information about an inmate’s immigration status.

House Bill 1012, sponsored by Jenkins, would require the Division of Correction and the Division of Parole and Probation to notify the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) of an inmate’s immigration status.

House Bill 1061, of which Shank and Del. Andrew A. Serafini, R-Washington, were among the sponsors, would require the same notification, but only by the DOC. The Division of Parole and Probation is not addressed in the bill.

The Department of Public Safety is taking a step in the right direction with a memorandum of understanding with ICE, Shank said. The agreement could allow for the deportation of certain nonviolent criminals after they have completed a portion of their sentence, prison officials have said.

The House Judiciary Committee voted 14-7 on an unfavorable report for both Jenkins’ and Shank’s bills, which will not move on for a vote before the full House.

“That’s exactly what I expected,” Jenkins said Tuesday.

The state has “coddled” illegal immigrants and danced around the issue of illegal immigration for years, Jenkins said.

House Majority Leader continues to bully the State House Assembly – This Time regarding Pension Plans

Kudos to the Republicans in our Assembly who Want State Pensions Cut for themselves

Dear State Assembly and Media,

Specifically Delegate Bill Frank and the Minority Leaders, I applaud you on your stance against Mike Busch and the needs to leave the Pension System alone. The Republicans are doing the will of the People, they want to be on the same pension as state employees who are full time workers as opposed to the excessive pension plans the State House is entitled to for Part Time work. If you can furlough State Workers and affect their wallets, yours should be affected as well.

The Strong tyrannical approach by House Leader Mike Busch is incomprehensible and regretful. While the rest of Marylander’s are struggling with Retirement Funds and Jobs, he refuses to look into cutting the State House Pensions. The voters of Maryland will be heard, the arm twisting tactics and abrasive behaviors by the House Leader and Senate Leader are reprehensible. Again, how many times must you be reminded, your Salaries are paid for by the Tax Payer, and you are our Employee, time for you to take a look in the mirror and get off the I am better then the hard working Marylanders horse.

Let’s face it, Rhinos and Libitards must be replaced to restore fiscal responsibility back to Maryland and until these Status Quo Members of the House and Senate are voted out, Maryland will continue to be one of the worst states to live in. I believe we just came in at 50 in a recent study, thanks to Taxes, Mandates, Irresponsible Spending, Poor Government Management, etc.

The arrogance of Mike Busch to ignore Delegate Bill Frank and the amendments he would like to impose or be looked into is deplorable. Another example of poor decision making by the House Leader.

Let’s see what the Senate has to say about it. Better yet, let’s wait and see what the Voters have to say in November.

Va. House passes bill to defy health care mandate – Virginia Standing up to Socialized Healthcare and telling Obama, we don’t want your Intrusions into our State Business.

Virginia’s House of Delegates on Thursday voted to defy a potential health insurance mandate from Congress. The vote, which follows the passage of a similar measure in the Virginia Senate last week, puts the state legislature squarely in opposition to a core provision of congressional Democrats’ health care bill.

Open Email to Governor O’Malley of Maryland

Washington County and Western Maryland fully support a change for Governor.  NO to OMalley, yes to someone else.  We all know who that someone else is too.

They are no longer fooled by the Numbers.  Tax Credits for business’s who have no work to hire anyone anyways, so that is a falacy, you can’t give money to business’s without NEW WORK to hire NEW EMPLOYEES.

This year’s budget is larger then what Maryland Revenues come in at for 2009, Spending to continues to fund the Bay Program and other program’s that do not work.

Counties are circumventing the Governor and beginning to institute E Verify without the Assembly.  PG and MOCO do not control the state.

Majority of Marylanders believe in their Gun Rights and Pro Life and for the Death Penalty to be amended to make it simplar to put someone on death row for Murder, especially that of a child at the hands of an Adult.

OMalley continues to furlough state workers while not downsizing his own administration and wants to increase his administration with the SO Called Obama Cyber Security CZAR, another in a line of invasions to the people’s right to privacy.

Slots is a huge failure.

OMalley’s failure to keep his promises to Marylanders once he took office.  Ran big business out of the state making it the 45th friendliest to do business with and the 3rd highest taxed state in the Country.

It seems the Tax Credit would work if he would cut the taxes he forced on the Citizens of Maryland and lowered the Corporate Tax Burden to lure business’s back to Maryland.

It’s time for change, someone who understands economics without the highest tax increases in Maryland History.

His support of Illegal Alien’s in our communities that cost Maryland Tax Payers 1.4 billion a year in Social Services, Incarceration, Education, etc.  See Paulette Faulkner Lawsuit where 52,000 Illegal Aliens were given Social Services.

7.5 percent unemployment is misleading the Voters of Maryland, it is more closer to 14 percent of the nationwide underemployment and unemployment rates.

Relys on Obama to bail out Unemployment Insurance because he chased away big business in Maryland.

Relying on Healthcare Bill to pass at the Fed Level to offset close to 400 million in the Budget Shortfall.

Has drained the Rainy Day fund.  Continous to fight with the State Comptroller, who actually understands Economics.

Tom Russell sends out emails to State Workers requesting donations right up to Midnight for OMalleys Campaign.

Millionaires tax increase that my Senator, OMalleys buddy Don Munson voted for as well as over 1 million dollars to Casa De Maryland.  Does not allow the press in on meetings with the Hispanic Committee meetings.

No Transparency, hidden agendas, back door deals, and the Arm Twisting Tactics of Mike Miller and his Co Horts. And we know about those meetings.

Oh, lets not forget this, Was against Slots, but as soon as he became Governor, was in favor of them.

Has turned his back on Committee Groups when he was Mayor of Baltimore.  Someone once said, they never did get a favor they were supposed to get once he was elected Mayor.  Some sort of a check towards a foundation, a grant or fund, something along those lines.

Froze instate tuition, when the Majority of Marylander’s go out of state to college on Scholarships and its easier to get into those schools then in Maryland.

Cigarette Tax Increase, forcing Marylander’s to purchase their goods out of state.  Sales Tax Increase.

Raises to his staff members, Largest Staff in the Country, second to Obama.  Enormous Raises to the PSC on the heels of the recession.

Refuses to shut down programs that are failing in Maryland, closing out Vacant Correctional Facility Positions.

State paid for Video Gaming systems to Correctional Facilities, Flat Screen TV’s.

Yes, I would say it is time for change, it looks like the luck of the Irish is about to be voted out after one term.  Praise the Blarney Stone.

Tea Party Convention organizer: Tancredo gave ‘fantastic speech’ – Hammers Obama as a Socialist and McCain a Fake Republican

Tom Tancredo Hammers Obama and McCain.

Nashville, Tennessee (CNN) — The organizer of the Tea Party Convention says he agrees with Tom Tancredo’s description of President Obama as a socialist.

The former congressman from Colorado and 2008 Republican presidential candidate blasted Obama, saying “people who could not even spell the word ‘vote’, or say it in English, put a committed socialist ideologue in the White House. His name is Barack Hussein Obama.”

Tancredo made his comments Thursday night as he gave the kickoff speech for the convention, which is being held at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center in Nashville.

Penalties Irk Bisciotti Baltimore Ravens Blogs – Governor O’Malley and How Maryland Politics Correspond

Penalties Irk Bisciotti Baltimore Ravens Blogs – Governor O’Malley and How Maryland Politics Correspond

Penalties Irk Bisciotti « Baltimore Ravens Blogs

Posted using ShareThis

I am going to start mixing up my Blog somewhat to alleviate some of the stresses of Politics, but, when the Owner of the Ravens speak of Penalties, I can only relate this to the State of Maryland, Personal Fouls, Pass Interference and Holding.

Let me explain.

Personal Fouls:  The Failure of our Leaders to understand what the people want and need to function in our recessive economy.  While they have continued to spend over the last 3 years under Governor Martin OWEMalley, we have had to deal with the worst economic downfall in Maryland in over 30 years.  Why is this a personal foul, it’s a personal foul because Martin OWEMalley made promises to the voters of Maryland when Campaigning against then Governor Robert Ehrlich, then back peddled on everything he stood for at the time.

-BGE = I will not allow the BGE Rate Hike to go through.  Well he had no choice, deregulation was coming to an end and we had to raise rates to their norm due to inflation.  You can not hold down Energy Costs, but I guess Marylander’s fell for that one too.

-Slots = Lied to the people of Maryland, “I will not fund education through Slots, as this will Morally Bankrupt Maryland” This said while he was then Mayor of Balitmore City.  Once he became Governor, his tune changed of course, and said we need this for Revenues, Transportation and guess what, Education Costs.

Pass Interference:

EDF Merger Deal = Stated he would not get involved with the ongoing negotiations with EDF and Constellation for a 3rd reactor at Calvert Cliffs, again, he got involved, then held Constellation Energy Hostage, demanding a 1 time credit to BGE Consumers, which came out to 100 dollars per household.

Public Service Commission = Fired Ehrlich’s people, brought in his own, and gave them enormous pay increases on the heals of the current recession.

Holding = Calls Special Session to offset the Structural deficit after draining the Rainy Day fund that Governor Ehrlich had left behind to offset his budget the first year in office.

Tax Increases = 20 percent sales tax increase, 1 dollar increase on the cigarette tax in Maryland, adding on to the already 1 dollar in place.  Raised the Corporate Tax Rate to 8.5 percent, holding them hostage to help offset his budget in which he grew 30 percent in his first year as Governor.  So what happened, business’s left.  The Millionaires Tax Increase.  What happens to some just over the line Millionaires during a recession?  They move to more friendlier tax states, such as Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, etc.

See, Comptroller Peter Franchot came to OWEMALLEY and said, please, just wait a couple months for me to get the numbers together, you do not need to call a special session.  This special session also cost Maryland Tax payers 100,000 dollars a day to have.

Maryland took in, in revenues last year around 12.3 billion, this years operating budget is 13.8 billion, which is increase, not a decrease.  Projected revenues continue to fall as Marylander’s cross the lines to purchase their goods, smokes and gamble.

Only 3 of the 5 licenses in Maryland have been sold for Slots.  Rocky Gap is nowhere to put slots, but do they listen?  No, of course not.

Let’s also talk about how OWEMalley loves his Illegal Aliens in Maryland, he meets regularly with the Hispanic Commission and also assisted in allowing illegal aliens to keep their driver’s licenses for 6 more years before having to prove they are here legally.

Now, the Governor is running in fear of loosing his seat, 46 percent approval rating.  60 percent say they would not vote for him again, waits on Obama to bail him out on this years budget, he needs 393 million, plus he just begged the Feds to give him almost 300 Million to help with the Unemployment Insurance in Maryland because of our Unemployment Rate, which is 7.5 percent, but that is misleading.  Why is it misleading you ask?  That is because Maryland is fortunate enough to have Federal Jobs and Buildings on the outskirts of DC.  If those jobs were not there, Maryland is looking at 11 percent Unemployed and Underemployment rates of close to 17 percent.  So don’t let the lies fool you.

OWEMalley recently talked about all the new jobs created around the Inner Harbor area, well those jobs are slated for the Union Workers, so truly, those are not job creations for the average Joe as he likes to think.

He continues to furlough State Workers to offset his deficits, closed Correctional Job Vacancies, approximately 280 jobs lost.

While he states we created almost 37,000 jobs last year, Maryland lost almost 36,ooo thousand jobs, so basically a net gain of 1,000 jobs for a State Population over 5 million people.

Governor OWEMalley also has the Largest Governor Staff and Cabinet in the Country, why has he not cut position in his own administration?  I don’t know why, but I am sure the voters would like to know why.

Why did the Governors Staff Members receive pay increases while the State Highway Administration and State Workers as a whole have not had a step increase in over 2 years now, but OWEMalley and his merry men continue to profit on the Tax Payers in Maryland.

The Average State Employee earns around 40k a year, every time he furloughs them, he hurts the Families, and these are not rich families, these are hard working, blue collar, middle class families.  He always manages to hit Marylanders, specifically the Middle Class the hardest.

Why has he froze In State Tuition costs for the University of Maryland School System, yet, the average Joe can only afford Community Colleges, whose tuition costs have risen drastically to offset the State System tuition freeze.  First off, most kids who graduate high school in Maryland leave the state to go to college, even with the tuition freeze, its still less expensive and easier to get a scholarship to schools outside of Maryland.  You can try to figure that one out.

I can go on and on and on, but as the election process draws nearer, we will begin to see the Failures of the current Governor in the light of day, no more darkness and deals surrounding the current administration, and this time, Maryland can only hope for a Scott Brown to replace the only Governor to raise taxes at the historical rate that he did, in fact, his tax increases have been the largest in the History of the State of Maryland.

His short comings will be in full view this time, you can’t blame it on Bush, you can’t blame it on the economy, because you could have taken measures to cut spending, pass legislation to remove some of the mandates in the budget.  You refused, you let your ego get in the way, and by doing so, you have become Maryland’s biggest failure of All Time as Governor, and we thought Parris Glendenning was bad.  You have far and away surpassed that Mr. Governor.

Do Maryland a favor, continue to play in your band and plan on taking a long vacation after the election this year.

When Did the American People Elect Eric Holder Commander in Chief?

When Did the American People Elect Eric Holder Commander in Chief?

Following weeks of strong bipartisan criticism of their handling of terror trials and detainees, Attorney General Eric Holder released a letter yesterday defending the Obama administration’s criminal justice system approach to prosecuting the war against al-Qaeda. Defending his administration’s handling of the Flight 253 terrorist, Holder wrote: “I made the decision to charge Mr. Abdulmutallab with federal crimes, and to seek his detention in connection with those charges, the knowledge of, and with no objection from, all other relevant departments of the government.”

First, this statement directly contradicts the sworn Congressional testimony of Director of National Intelligence Adm. Dennis Blair who, when asked by Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) under oath if he had been consulted about how Abdulmutallab should have been interrogated, responded: “I was not consulted.” Under intense political pressure from the White House, Blair has since said his remarks were “misconstrued.” But his politically-pressured retraction was not made under oath. His initial statement was. At the very minimum, Congress must demand that both Holder and Blair testify under oath to settle this contradiction.

But more importantly, both the personal pronouns and the underlying substance of Holder’s letter speaks volumes about this administration’s approach to protecting the American people. Holder wrote yesterday: “Neither advising Abdulmutallab of his Miranda rights nor granting him access to counsel prevents us from obtaining intelligence from him. On the contrary, history shows that the federal justice system is an extremely effective tool for gathering intelligence.” Holder appears to be arguing that reading suspects their Miranda rights is a great way to get them to talk. But as American University law professor Kenneth Anderson notes: “The point of offering suspects the Miranda warning and associated rights is not in order to persuade them to talk, but in order to make sure they know they don’t have to and, if they have much in the way of brains, won’t.”

And, in the past, Holder himself has even acknowledged this. The Weekly Standard’s Stephen F. Hayes flags this exchange between CNN’s Paula Zahn and Holder about American Taliban John Walker Lindh from January 28, 2002. Zahn: “How much pressure should they put on this man to get information out of him as they interrogate him?” Holder replied: “Well, I mean, it’s hard to interrogate him at this point now that he has a lawyer and now that he is here in the United States. But to the extent that we can get information from him, I think we should.”

Holder asserts throughout his letter, and in contradiction to his 2002 statement, that absolutely no intelligence was lost by treating Abdulmutallab like a common criminal. That is just not plausible. In a speech at The Heritage Foundation yesterday, Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said: “The fact remains that all the intelligence he possessed concerning the locations, training techniques, and communications methods of Al Qaeda in Yemen is perishable. Yemeni forces needed that information on December 25th, not six weeks later. Meanwhile, the American people are left to wonder whether, in place of interrogations, their safety depends on terrorists having families who can persuade them to talk.”

The criminal justice system can and should play a role in our nation’s fight against al Qaeda. But it should dictate war-time policy for the entire Executive Branch. Again, from McConnell yesterday: “No one denies that a balance must be struck between preserving civil liberties and protecting the homeland. No one wants to sacrifice one for the other. But in many cases, all that’s involved is a simple question of judgment. And when a judgment call has to be made, our priorities should be clear: keeping Americans safe should always win out, within the law.”

And who should be making those judgment calls? The American people did not elect Eric Holder to balance the interests of national security and civil liberties. They elected Barack Obama to do that.

A Man who Stands on his Principles – Looses Job today

When I start getting emails from the unemployed, or those recently unemployed, and how our State is failing us and disregarding us, I can only post the voices of those who read, listen, or talk to me as those who have become disgruntled over their treatment.  As Marylander’s continue to lose their fight to keep their jobs, more and more have become vocal at their displeasure of the demise of Maryland and it’s failing Leaders who we entrust with our votes.  Today, I received this disheartening email from a blog follower and now, laid off.

Today I became unemployed. My first thought was to cancel my campaign.
Decided not to I just have to continue the fight for our State.
Tomorrow I will take my wife to try and get her state health
insurance, she is disabled.
But she did not qualify for SSI
I can rely on the VA.

I can not and will not ask for a pity party. Millions of us are in the
same boat.

What makes me more mad then ever is this.

We as a Nation have allowed the political elite to control our
destiny. By way of trying to turn America into europe. We have allowed
people who are not legally in our country to take our jobs. We have
made trade deals only to sell out our Country to third world nations.
Placing a direction of being second to a communist nation.

This is what happens when we vote for morons, who don’t strive to keep
America First.
We been voting for the same idiots for forty years.
God Save the Republic
